Holistic Health is a combination of Assisted Isometric Stretch / PNF Stretching, Cranial Sacral Therapy, TBM, Reiki, Matrix, and Energy Work which relieve tension in the central nervous system to promote a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity. Assisted Isometric Stretching uses PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular FacilitationTechnique) to release and lengthen tight, shortened muscles, increasing flexibility and range of motion. Tailored to address area of pain/ restriction and surrounding/involved muscle groups Lower body stretching focuses on: Tight IT bands Hamstrings Piriformis Syndrome Psoas/ hip flexors Sciatica Knee or ankle Plantar fasciitis Upper Body: Neck Jaw (TMJ) Shoulders Arms / wrists/ elbows (carpal tunnel, tennis elbow) Scapular pain/ thoracic outlet Headaches Diaphragm Benefits: Pain Relief Improved Blood Flow and Circulation Improved Range of Motion Accelerated Warm Up and Recovery Tension Release Stress Relief Potentially reduce the risk of injury Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, yet powerful mobilization technique that decompresses the nervous system. CST removes restrictions and relieves pressure within the craniosacral system; a pressure-stat system that gently moves the cerebral spinal fluid surrounding the cranial bones, spinal column and sacrum. While effective for structural issues (migraines, TMJ and lower back/ tailbone issues) relief of CST dysfunction and pressure can help put other body systems back into balance, as well as promote deep relaxation.
