Our certified technician will use this appointment to analyze the female torso. Your appointment will result in (17 images). Scans of head, dental, neck, thyroid, breasts, shoulders, hips, abdomen/pelvis, upper and lower back. Includes closeups of any problem areas. Thermography is simply a procedure utilizing an electronic camera to obtain an image of the infrared radiation (heat) coming from the surface of the skin. The thermographic procedure is performed as an aid to the diagnosis of abnormal temperature patterns, which may or may not indicate the presence of a disease process or pathology. We are relying less on the quantitative temperature values and more on patterns and symmetry to provide greater insight into the health of your breasts and related tissues. Special Instructions Thermography is infrared photography and heat sensitive only. We want your body temperature to be as normal as possible. Preparation for your scan is simple but extremely important.
